Simple Plan

I think we have a really great album today in the form of Simple Plans self-titled album... er... Simple Plan (album).

Quite frankly I don't see any filler on this album. It's just pure alternative rock entertainment from start to finish.

Despite the title, it's actually their third studio release and was released on 12th February 2008.

Seventh Tree

We've got the latest album from Goldfrapp today. Seventh Tree was released in the UK on 25th February 2008 and a day later in both Canada and the US.

This album marks a change in direction and pace from the 2006 album Supernature.

Backwoods Barbie

Today we've got Backwoods Barbie by the legendary country artist Dolly Parton.

I have to say this is a really good album that has defied my expectations and features some extremely strong pop chart oriented songs including a cover of the Fine Young Cannibals classic 80's song Drives Me Crazy.

The album was released on 26th Feburary 2008.

Today we have Scream Aim Fire, the second studio album from the Welsh metalcore band Bullet For My Valentine.

We've got In The Future, the second album from Canadian indie-rock band Black Mountain today.

The album was released on 21st January 2008 and features the quite old 2006 single Stormy High and the song Stay Free that featured in the soundtrack of Spider-Man 3.
